Making something out of nothing!

So yes im a Youtube junkie and there is a lady on there that makes mini books...I never tried it but Im going to!! I been cutting up old cardboard to use for the cover and back..so im hopping this turns out well...*crosses fingers*

 I been making my cards for the woman that request some...every year she does this camp for abused kids..she was in need of cards so figured id try making some..I have 25 done so far ..Id like to get at least 40. I wish I had ALL my scrap stuff (its in storage) then I would have sooooo many other cool things to add to my cards..right now im just not too thrilled with what I been making.

 I been looking at everyones blogs..there all so pretty..mine is plain. I dont know how to put buttons on my blog or backgrounds...ugh..

Ohhhh I made these mini page out of old plastic sacks you get from the store! Its a great way to recycle. I did make one last night..took 2 trys though since I melted the first one..but the 2nd one was much better and I really looooooove it. Dan seen it and thought I was nuts..you see why..I'll post youtube link for you to see the lady that I got idea from..

First Blog!!

I love scrapbooking..it has given me alot of ways to get over dark things in life that you dont want to talk about. I dont know people in my everyday life that likes to scrapbook..So I try and make friends on my scrap sites..alot of wonderful ladies on there.  I dont have kids of my own, my fiance has 4 kids there a handful but great to have around when you want a laugh. I think its nuts that some think scrapbooking is just for moms..ummm hello..I have a life too worth scrapbooking. My fiance..such a wonderful dude..he supports my scrapbooking 100% he even helps me at times and comes up with better ideas!!! Pfft!!!

  More Personal...Were buying a home..its a 5 bedroom house..but were expanding the bathroom so that will take up one room..I'll also turn one room into a scraproom..My fiance and I been together "officially"  for almost 2 years..but were always were in each others lifes and best friends for 6yrs..I moved up here to Pa to be with him..was born and raised in Texas..lived in Va beach/Norfolk area for 5years..miss that place alot not the traffic though lol. We got a dog and cat...both females..cat is a new addition to the family.

Thats just a lil of me..im sure I suck at this whole blog thing but maybe I'll get better :)
